  About IEEE Mysore Sub-Section  

IEEE Mysore Subsection installation, one among the 3 subsections of IEEE Bangalore Section. The Aim of IEEE Mysore subsection is to conduct various student and professional activities like invited talks, student internships, workshops and the Flagship conferences. IEEE Mysore subsection consists of Mysore, Mandya, Hassan, Chamarajanagar and Kodagu districts. Mysore subsection has 26 Engineering Colleges with 14 IEEE Student Branches and more than 1000 IEEE members. IEEE Mysore subsection will enhance the professional networking, humanitarian activities, and staying updated with latest technological development.

IEEE Mysore Subsection was inaugurated by Ms. Susan K Land, IEEE President USA 2021 on 21st December 2020 @6.30 PM(IST) and  delivered the inaugural address. IEEE Mysore Subsection was initiated by Mr.Puneet Kumar Mishra, Chair IEEE Bangalore Section delivered brief history of IEEE Bangalore Section and the formation IEEE Mysore Subsection. The event was graced by the presence of key leaders Prof. Akinori Nishihara, Director, IEEE Region 10 Ms.Maike Luiken,  IEEE  Vice President, MGA 2021, Prof. S N Singh, Chair-IEEE India Council,  Dr. Ramakrishna K, MGA Chair, MELCC & Vice-Chair, Member Development. Distinguished Invited Speakers Dr.Supavadee Aramvith, IEEE R10-Section and Chapter Coordinator, Dr.K  R Suresh Nair, IEEE India Council, Chair-Elect 2020,Dr.Debabrata Das, IEEE India Council, Chair-Elect 2021.

  About MYSURUCON-2021  

"MysuruCon” is the flagship annual international conference of the IEEE Mysore Subsection, With plenary sessions, keynote addresses by reputed academicians and most importantly, high quality presentations from the best of the researchers in and around India. "MysuruCon" aims to provide an active platform for research scientists, engineers, and practitioners throughout the world to present their latest research findings, ideas, and applications in the fields of interest which fall under the scope of IEEE.

  About Navkis College of Engineering, Hassan

  About  Hassan 

Hassan is a city and the district headquarters of Hassan District in the Indian state of Karnataka. The town is situated 980 m (3,220 ft) above sea level. The urban population in 2011 was 133,436. GEOGRAPHY:- Lying between 12° 13´ and 13° 33´ North latitudes and 75° 33´ and 76º38´ East longitude, Hassan district has a total area of 6826.15 Sq. Kms. It is situated at a distance of 182 km from the state capital, Bengaluru,120km from Mysuru and 166 km from Mangalore. Hassan district was the seat of the Hoysala Empire which at its peak ruled large parts of south India from Belur as its early capital and Halebidu as its later capital during the period 1000 - 1334 CE. World famous tourist places Beluru, Halebidu and Shravanabelagola are within 30Kms from Hassan.
